John Hattie: Influences on Student Achievement
- Teachers matter more to student achievement than any other aspect of schooling.
- The effectiveness of the teacher is estimated to have two to three times the impact of any other school factor, including services, facilities, and even leadership.
- There is only one way to obtain student achievement and the research is very specific. It is the teacher and what the teacher knows and can do that is the determining factor with student achievement.
